The Horshoe Rock's dive site is a pinnacle of rocks approx 6 miles nor-west of Ilfracombe with a horshoe shaped crater. They are marked on the surface and on charts by a "North Cardinal buoy". This used to a favourite site in the years gone by for the Ilfsac club though not dived often in the last few years.
A very picturesque dive with the usual Bristol Channel critters. with varying depths from 15m to 35m. It is also known that there are 3 or 4 unmarked wrecks in the area so a good dive for new discoveries
As usual a torch and DSMB will be required.
The picture below is a side scan sonar image of the rocks.
